After it downloads

1. Open the .dmg file.
2. Drag Mac Control Wheel onto the Applications folder.
3. Start it, and allow Accessibility in System Settings when it asks. Without it the app still reads the trackpad, but it cannot raise a minimised window.

Nothing else. The build is notarised by Apple, so a normal double-click opens it — no right-click, no Terminal, no quarantine flag to remove. If macOS ever refuses to open it, something is wrong with the build, not with your Mac.

Updating from an older version

Your settings and your licence stay as they are. The wheel keeps its apps and positions, the measured hand keeps its numbers, and an activated licence stays activated. A new version replaces the app, not your setup.
